As a consumer, you need to keep an open eye on product's label. Then read it! You don't have to be a scientist, the rule of thumb says the natural ingredients should be easily recognizable. If you have some doubts or if it is an ingredient you do not know anything about, write down the name and a quick online search should reveal it's true nature.
